Polar in Action, Vol. 1

Polar continues to be a steady source of comfort for the children served at the child advocacy center, Pasco Kids First, spending time each week helping ease anxiety as children wait for forensic interviews, medical examinations, and therapy appointments. His calm presence has also extended into the courtroom, where Polar has accompanied children as they bravely advocated for themselves before a judge, even while facing the presence of an abusive parent.

This quarter also marked the launch of Polar’s new coloring and activity books, now in circulation and quickly becoming a favorite among both children and adults. Looking ahead, meetings are on the books with the Foster Parent’s Association and the State Attorney’s Office to expand awareness of Polar’s availability to support children throughout Pinellas and Pasco counties. Polar’s impact continues to grow, one paw print at a time.
