Jason

This week, Polar spent time at the Pasco County Courthouse doing what he does best, being little Jason's new best friend!

Jason was a little young to really advocate for himself, but wanted to accompany his foster mother to his court proceedings. So, when it was her turn to speak with the judge, Polar was the perfect friend to help Jason stay occupied and busy. They spent some reading stories, building blocks, and then joyfully crashing through the block constructs to send them scattering all over the floor!

Sometimes help looks like advocacy. Sometimes it looks like protection. And sometimes it looks like a new pal to sit and play blocks with you. Polar helps children regulate big feelings, ease anxiety, and find their footing in overwhelming spaces. In hallways where uncertainty lingers, he brings calm. In moments filled with tension, he brings steadiness.

Because no child should have to carry heavy moments by themselves.
